# We Create

> We Create is a women's AI build community in Miami, Florida. It is where women learn AI in Miami and South Florida: free monthly AI build nights at The Dock in Wynwood where beginners and engineers build real projects with AI tools and demo them to the room. Allies are welcome. Women anywhere in the Americas can take part virtually.

Key facts:
- What: free monthly AI build nights (three hours: build, demo, connect), plus monthly expert sessions on building with AI
- Who: women at every level, from total beginners to senior engineers; about a third of the room has never shipped code; beginners are paired with experienced builders
- Where: The Dock, 400 NW 26th St, Wynwood, Miami, Florida 33127; remote participation is open to women across the Americas
- Cost: build nights are free to attend, kept that way by founding sponsor Dreamaker and community partners. Membership (attend two build nights and you're in) asks members to give back in whichever way works for them: a donation of any amount or their time on a special project that strengthens and grows the community
- Founder: Isabella Mongalo. Nearly a decade in conversational AI: former product manager for conversational support at Apple, where she launched AppleCare's first generative AI implementation, and former Director of Digital Customer Experience Solutions at Sitel Group, deploying virtual assistants for Fortune 100 brands. Named one of LATINA Style's Top 10 Corporate Latina Executives of the Year (2020). MBA, UCLA Anderson; BS, Cornell. Teaches concept design at LINK School of Business.
