We Create ("we," "us") runs a women's AI build community in Miami. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email, and whether you can attend in person in Miami, when you RSVP, join our list, or submit a project to demo.
• Membership information: your member-directory profile, build nights attended, and anything you choose to share about what you're building.
• Event content: project submissions, demos, and questions you post in community channels such as our WhatsApp group.
• Basic usage data from our website and event tools (for example, our event platform), used to keep things running.

How we use it

• To send build-night details, the occasional update, and information you ask for.
• To run membership: the WhatsApp group, the member directory, and members-only gatherings.
• To improve our events and understand what the community wants.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example, our email, event, and messaging tools), with other members through the member directory you opt into, or when required by law.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, ask to see or correct your information, or ask us to remove you from the directory and our lists. To make any request, email hello@joinwecreate.com.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Photo & Media Consent

Our build nights are community spaces, and we sometimes take photos and short videos to share what the room looks like and to welcome new women in.

• By attending an event, you understand that photos and video may be captured and that you may appear in them.
• We may use this media on our website, social channels, newsletter, and other community materials.
• We will never use your image to suggest an endorsement you didn't give, and we won't sell your image.

If you'd rather not be photographed

That's completely fine, and there's no pressure. Let a host know when you arrive, or email hello@joinwecreate.com, and we'll do our best to keep you out of frame.

Taking something down

If a photo or video of you is already published and you'd like it removed, email hello@joinwecreate.com with enough detail to find it, and we'll take it down promptly.

Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of our website and participation in We Create events and community channels.

Our community standards

We Create is for women, and allies are welcome. We expect everyone to be respectful, keep the room low-stakes and welcoming, and treat what's shared in the community with care. We may decline or end participation for anyone who makes the space unsafe or unwelcoming.

What you share

You keep ownership of the projects and ideas you bring. By demoing or posting in our channels, you give us permission to reference your participation (for example, naming a demo at a build night). Don't share anything you don't have the right to share.

No professional advice

Content from our events, website, and community is for learning and inspiration. It isn't legal, financial, or professional advice, and you're responsible for what you build and ship.

Third-party tools and links

We link to and use third-party services such as our event calendar and messaging tools. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.

Changes

We may update these terms and the policies on this page as the community grows. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
